Love isn’t just about how long you’ve been together—it’s about how well you know each other right now. Here’s a simple practice to check in, reconnect, and grow together. Think of it as a relationship reset ritual—an active, reflective way to spark new love energy.

1. What has changed?

Think about something small that’s different in your partner lately. A new habit? A new stressor? A new dream they’ve been talking about? Name it out loud. “I’ve noticed you’ve been into ___ lately. Tell me more about it.”

2. Where have you been on autopilot?

Every relationship has routines. Some are beautiful, some are stale. Try some intentional swaps: replace scrolling before bed with five minutes of real conversation, trade the usual “How was your day?” for “What made you smile today?”, or swap eating in front of the TV for a slow meal with music and candlelight.

3. What is something small that would make them feel loved?

Not grand gestures—micro-moments. A hand on their back while they cook. A small note in their bag. A text in the middle of the day. Love lives in details. What is one thing you can add this week?

4. What is one “first” you can create together this month?

A new place, a new conversation, a new experience—even something as small as a recipe or a question you’ve never asked. Novelty strengthens connection. Reflect together on one thing you haven’t done yet. Make it fun and exciting.

5. How can you see them in a new light?

Think back to when you first met them. What was something about them that fascinated you? Now, look at them today. What’s something about them you haven’t fully appreciated yet? Tell them.
